Return, Exchange & Refund Policy – Timeless Basics

At Timeless Basics, each blouse is thoughtfully handcrafted in limited quantities and carefully quality-checked before dispatch. Because of the artisanal nature of our products, we follow a strict yet transparent policy to ensure fairness for both our customers and our artisans.

We encourage you to read the policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Policy (Only for Wrong or Defective Products)

We accept returns ONLY in the following cases:

  • You have received a wrong product, or
  • The product has a manufacturing defect or damage

In such cases:

  • You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos and an unboxing video for verification

Once approved:

  • We will arrange a reverse pickup at no additional cost
  • After verification, we will provide:
    • A replacement (if available) OR
    • A full refund in the form of a coupon code (valid for 60 days)

2. Exchange Policy (For All Other Requests)

If your concern is related to:

  • Size issues
  • Change of preference
  • Color or design expectations

We offer an exchange only (no return/refund in these cases).

Exchange Conditions:

  • Request must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
  • Product must be unused, with original tags and packaging
  • Exchange is allowed once per order only
  • Reverse shipping must be arranged by the customer

Additional Notes:

  • If the new product is of higher value, the price difference must be paid
  • If lower, the balance will be issued as a store credit

3. Situations Where Returns Are Not Accepted

We do not accept returns in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Incorrect size selection
  • Personal dislike of color, fabric, or design
  • Minor color variation (up to 5%) due to lighting/screen differences
  • Natural variations due to handcrafted processes

4. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only for wrong or defective products
  • Refund mode: Store credit (coupon code)
  • Validity: 60 days from the date of issue
  • Coupon can be used on any product on our website

5. Shipping & Deductions

  • If free shipping was applied on the original order, a deduction of ₹150–₹250 may be applied
  • For multiple exchanges or special cases, an additional ₹250 handling charge may apply

6. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be canceled only before dispatch
  • Since orders are processed quickly, we request prompt communication

For Prepaid Orders:

  • A 5% payment gateway fee will be deducted on cancellation
  • Remaining amount will be refunded as:
    • Store credit OR
    • Original payment method (if applicable)

7. Customized / Altered Products

Customized or altered blouses are made specially for you and therefore:

  • ❌ Not eligible for return or exchange
  • ✔ Only eligible in case of a verified manufacturing defect

In such cases, we will arrange a reverse pickup and resolution

8. Important Guidelines

  • All return/exchange requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery
  • Product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition
  • Tags and packaging must be intact
  • Only one exchange allowed per order
  • Only one coupon code can be used per order
  • COD token amounts are non-refundable
